Winter is definitely here. The snow has come, the lake has frozen, and the ice fishing is well underway. At times, our lake looks like it has a fishing village on it. When the sun is shining in the mornings, we often see fog on the lake. It’s a beautiful time.
We’ve been blessed with some beautiful weather this month. I’ve enjoyed the fog in the mornings.
This time of year, we see a lot of fog on the lake and in the area. These are some of the pictures I’ve taken in the last month or so. It’s a peaceful quiet time and we can enjoy it when we are walking around the lake, or taking the kayak out.
I love going for walks on our road in the morning, especially when there is fog over the lake.
Fog in the winter looks very different from the fog we see in the summer. As the weather warms, the snow and ice can bring about a beautiful fog. This morning, I took a walk to see the fog on our lake which hid some of the fishing huts, and simplified the scenery. Â
