We spent some time at Mew Lake Provincial Park in Algonquin in June, and enjoyed hiking and looking at the wildlife.

On our kayak trip, we saw some painted turtles sunbathing. There were a couple of turtles, but only this one was cooperating for a photo.

There were a couple of Canada Geese families in the park. They were very careful about anyone coming near them.

In the next picture, we were kayaking and came across this Canada Goose family. They obviously didn’t want us to notice them, and “froze” in place. When I first saw them, I thought that these were rocks.
