This was the first time I remember seeing a gray catbird. My husband spotted it while we were camping at Presqu’ile Provincial Park.
They are gray with a small black cap. Their tail is darker too.
I didn’t hear it, but apparently they get their name because one of their calls can sound like a cat meowing.
