We visited Lake Louise several years ago (2003), but didn’t have much time to walk around the lake. We had accidentally locked our keys in our van and had to wait for CAA to help us. This made our time there very short, so I was hoping to have more time last year (2014) when we visited Lake Louise again. And … we did have more time!
Lake Louise is a very popular tourist place and even though there are a lot of people wandering around, we enjoyed our time there.
A lot of photographers were there taking photos. I thought it would be good to take a photo of one of the cameras set up for photographing the scenery.
The glacier has melted quite a bit. When we were there in 2003 the snow covered the section in the V shape.
As the sun was setting, we turned around and enjoyed the way the mountains were lit up behind the hotel.
What a beautiful lake! I think you could spend a lot of time just seeing how the lake changes throughout the day.
